Girls make great leaders

EXPRESS YOURSELF: Max Williams and Brooke Townsend both in Grade 9 at Burnie High School.  Max thinks Brooke has a lot of leadership qualities. Both helped out when Governor Kate Warner visited their school on Tuesday. 

FINDING something to aspire to on the cusp of adulthood can be a challenge, but 50 school girls from the North-West looked towards a future as great leaders at a luncheon with Governor Kate Warner on Tuesday. 

Brooke Townsend, Grade nine, from Burnie High School attended an intimate question and answer session with the Governer as part of the Up Close and BIG Series.
