Skills day offers insight

ABOUT 500 students were given the opportunity to try their hand at a trade and other professions at the Try'aSkill day at Burnie Arts and Function Centre on Wednesday.
The event was aimed at year 9 students, with more than 20 schools participating.
Although a number of the schools were based on the North-West, others came from further afield, including Queenstown, King Island and Flinders Island.
